Every tab in the Pit Board Racing dashboard was designed around a real problem that real racing teams face every weekend. Here's what each one does.

The digital version of the clipboard your crew chief has been carrying for 20 years — only now it never gets rained on, never gets left in the hauler, and never loses a page. The Setup Sheet covers every measurement your team needs: event information, heights and weights (unhooked and hooked), front and rear suspension geometry, shock data with static and dynamic center-to-center measurements, tires and brakes, and session notes.

Log your 4-corner shock dyno data and build a searchable library of setups across every track and condition you've run. The Shock Room captures gas pressure, base valve, piston type, shaft length, and force readings at 0 and 5 in/sec for both compression and rebound on all four corners. Save each session to your Garage with a setup name, track, date, and notes — then pull it back up at the next race to compare.

Log every lap from every session in one place and see your best lap, average lap, and drop-off calculated automatically. The built-in stopwatch lets you time laps directly from your phone at the track, or you can enter times manually. Multiple sessions per event are supported — create Session 1, Session 2, and so on to track changes between practice runs. The AI Scan feature lets you photograph a Race Monitor screen and automatically import all the lap times.

Stop writing load machine data on a whiteboard that gets erased before the next race. The Load Machine module captures bump stop loads and static and dynamic shock settings for all four corners, organized by run number within a session. Static vs. dynamic difference is calculated automatically so you can see exactly how much the car is moving at speed. Save sessions to your Garage with track, date, car number, and driver, then load them back at any time.

Log 3-point pyrometer readings for all four corners and see average temperature, spread, and stagger calculated automatically. The color-coded temperature guide (Cold, Ideal, Warm, Hot) gives you an instant visual read on where each tire is running. The Stagger Calculator computes front and rear stagger from your tire circumferences. The AI Tire Scan lets you photograph your pyrometer display and automatically fill in all four corners.

Log ambient temperature, track temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, and wind speed for every session. Density altitude is calculated automatically from your inputs — no manual formula needed. Tap Use My Location to auto-fill current conditions from your GPS position. Save every log to your Garage so you can pull up the conditions from last year's race at this track before you even unload the car.

Ask your AI Setup Buddy anything about asphalt late model chassis setup and get a specific, actionable answer in plain English — not a generic response. The AI is trained on late model setup knowledge and understands the terminology: bump stops, panhard bar height, cross weight, Ackerman, caster, pinion angle. It's available 24/7, even at 11pm the night before a race when your crew chief isn't answering texts.

Upload race footage or paste a YouTube URL and let the AI break down your car's handling characteristics from the video. The AI identifies tight and loose conditions, entry/center/exit behavior, driver input patterns, and mechanical issues — giving you a written analysis you can share with your crew and reference when making setup changes. Choose from preset analysis types or write a custom prompt to focus on exactly what you want to know.
The Basic plan is free forever and includes all core tools — Setup Sheet, Shock Room, Load Machine, Tire Tools, Lap Times, Weather, and Notes. No credit card required to start.
